Our mission at Juniperhaven is to provide exceptional quality childcare that parents can trust. Communication between school and home that is open and honest and a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive through the power of play.

Vision

To be the leading play-based preschool in Central Oregon that provides children with opportunities to develop empathy, resilience, and positive relationships with peers through play; setting them up for success in school and in life.

Philosophy

Our program philosophy is rooted in the belief that play is the natural and most effective way for young children to learn and develop. We as educators build a foundation through play for a child’s healthy development that fosters creativity, problem-solving skills, social-emotional growth, and early learning skills for kindergarten readiness.

About Us

Juniperhaven Preschool began as a licensed certified in-home childcare program in 2016. After many years of caring for children in her home, founder Amy Egle, had a desire to serve more families in Bend and move her business to a place that would be exclusively for childcare.

Finally In 2021, after countless efforts, Amy discovered a former church space that she believed would be perfect for her vision.

She dedicated herself tirelessly to transforming this space into a stunning environment for children. Despite facing numerous challenges, such as lengthy process of obtaining permitting and making the necessary zoning changes, Amy persevered. she spent countless hours painting walls, tearing down unnecessary barriers, and even made frequent trips to Hobby Lobby to add the perfect finishing touches.

After nine long months of anticipation, she proudly opened the doors of Juniperhaven Preschool as a certified center in December of 2021. The result was a beautiful space that welcomed children with open arms, providing them with a nurturing and stimulating environment to grow and learn.

My son has been Attending Juniperhaven since early/mid summer 2023 and we absolutely love it! They really do go the extra mile in caring for the kiddos. Their communication between parents and staff is awesome. My kids have been through a lot of childcare centers, most of which didn't meet all of my kids needs. I wish I had found them sooner. I would absolutely recommend Juniperhaven to any parent looking for childcare. They are the 1st I would recommend.
