Mrs. Amy Egle

Hi there, I’m Amy Egle and I’m the proud owner of Juniperhaven Preschool. I have had a passion for working for children for as long as I can remember. I idolized my teachers growing up and they inspired me to get my education degree and become a middle school Language Arts teacher. Within my first year of teaching, I got the exciting news that I was expecting my first child. After that first year, I decided to take a year off from the job I loved to take care of my daughter. When she was a year old, I decided to take a job a part-time job at a childcare center because I wasn’t quite ready to go back to teaching in the public school quite yet. To my surprise, I loved working with that age group. I loved their personalities, seeing them learn new things and having the opportunity to create relationships with the parents. After working in a few different centers and in-homes for several years, I took what I had learned and I decided to open my own certified in-home childcare program in 2016. I had about 12-16 kids a day with 1-2 teachers working alongside me. I saw children grow from babies to preschools and created so many special memories. I loved every minute.

When the pandemic hit, I saw the need for more quality childcare in my community and decided to expand my business into a childcare center.
