Mrs. Amy Egle

Welcome to Juniperhaven Preschool! My name is Amy Egle, and I have been dedicated to early childhood development since 2010. Before working with young children, I taught sixth grade, which gave me a deep understanding of the foundational skills children need for future success.

In 2015, I started my own in-home childcare program, driven by my passion for creating a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners. Over the years, I have honed my approach to early education, incorporating positive reinforcement, Conscious Discipline, and play-based learning to support the whole child—socially, emotionally, and academically.

As the director of Juniperhaven Preschool, I absolutely love what I do. I am passionate about coaching teachers to be the best they can be, helping them grow into confident, skilled educators who provide the highest quality care and learning experiences. I also take great pride in helping families find the right childcare fit, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their child’s early education journey.

Outside of my work, I am a proud wife and mother of four amazing kids. My family and I have loved calling Bend home since 2011, embracing everything this beautiful community has to offer. When I’m not at the preschool, I enjoy hiking, cooking for my family, and singing karaoke whenever I get the chance!

At Juniperhaven Preschool, our goal is to provide a warm, engaging, and supportive space where children build confidence, develop strong social-emotional skills, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning. I am honored to be part of this journey with our families and look forward to working together to help your child thrive!
