Our Two’s Room is designed for children around 24 to 36 months of age. With a 1:5 teacher-to-child ratio (maximum of 10 children), this classroom blends the comfort of familiar routines with the excitement of new developmental milestones.

Children in this room build social-emotional skills, explore their creativity, and begin to take on more independence, all with the gentle support of our trained and loving teachers.

Enrollment Options & Tuition

Full-time: $1750/month

3 Days/Week:  $1150/month

2 Days/Week: $795/month

Consistent Routines That Create Security

Toddlers thrive with routines they can rely on. The Two’s Room follows a similar daily rhythm to our One’s Room, creating consistency that feels safe and familiar, while allowing for new challenges and discoveries.
Daily highlights include:

  • Two outdoor play sessions per day
  • Shared mealtimes and family-style snacks
  • A transition to one nap per day on a consistent schedule
  • Large blocks of uninterrupted play to deepen focus and imagination

We balance structure and flexibility, allowing children to follow their interests while still benefiting from a predictable routine.

Play-Based Curriculum that Builds Key Life Skills

Our approach is rooted in play-based learning, where hands-on exploration leads to real growth. In the Two’s Room, your child will engage in:

  • Dramatic play, block building, and art exploration
  • Sensory bins, cause-and-effect activities, and loose parts play
  • Early literacy and language enrichment through storytelling and song

We rotate learning materials based on the children’s interests, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration in a way that feels natural and fun.

Social-Emotional Learning with Conscious Discipline

At this age, children are learning how to share space, express their feelings, and navigate big emotions. We use the Conscious Discipline® model to guide and support each child’s emotional development with empathy and respect.
This includes:

  • Naming emotions and helping children recognize their feelings
  • Co-regulation support when they feel overwhelmed
  • Gentle redirection and modeling of kind, respectful interactions
  • Helping children solve peer conflicts through words and guided choices


We teach that kindness, safety, and taking care of our school are shared values in our classroom.

Positive and Empowering Potty Learning

Potty learning is a major milestone in the Two’s Room, and we work closely with families to ensure it’s a positive, empowering experience. Every child progresses at their own pace, therefore we never shame accidents and always celebrate effort.
What to expect:

  • Scheduled potty breaks and reminders
  • Staff support for dressing and undressing
  • Diapering as needed without pressure
  • Communication with families about progress and readiness
  • Respect for every child’s unique timeline and sensitivity

 

You’ll be asked to send extra clothing, and we’ll support routines you’re building at home for consistency.

Communication That Keeps You Connected

In the Two’s Room, teachers continue to share important updates at drop-off and pick-up, and use the Lillio app when needed for documentation and notes. Our team believes in open, respectful communication and always welcomes collaboration with families to meet each child’s needs.

What to Bring for Your Two-Year-Old

To support your child’s comfort and success, please provide:

  • A week’s worth of diapers or pull-ups, if applicable
  • 3 full changes of clothing (especially during potty learning)
  • Blanket for nap
  • Water bottle, labeled
  • Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and shoes

All personal items should be labeled with your child’s name.

Tuition covers 8am-5pm
Drop-off at 6:30am: $75/additional fee
Pick-up as late as 6pm: $75/additional fee
